5 biggest bombshells of Rebekah Vardy v Coleen Rooney as Wagatha court battle comes to end – who will come out on top?
THE WAGATHA Christie court showdown between Rebekah Vardy and Coleen Rooney has seen huge bombshell revelations come to light.
Today was the final day of the libel trial after Coleen accused Rebekah, 39, of leaking stories to the press.
All evidence has now been heard by the judges who will now retire and deliver their decision at a later date.
The trial centered around a viral social media post from October 2019 where Mrs Rooney said she had carried out a "sting operation" and accused Mrs Vardy, 40, of leaking "false stories" about her private life to the press.
The wife of former England star Wayne Rooney was dubbed "Wagatha Christie" when she publicly claimed Mrs Vardy's account was the source behind three fake stories she had posted on her private Instagram account.
The trial has seen sensational revelations come to light, and here we look at five of the most dramatic bombshells...
Rebekah admits agent could have been leak
Coleen's lawyer claims she and agent Caroline Watt are the "only possible suspects" for leaks about the Rooneys - and the pair "deliberately" destroyed evidence.
Today in a bombshell revelation, we heard that Rebekah admits Miss Watt may have been "the source" of the leaks - and she "obviously made mistakes" trusting the agent.
Her lawyer Hugh Tomlinson said: "Mrs Vardy's case is, and has always been, that she didn't leak this information, nor did she authorise anyone else to leak it.
"She does not know to this day what happened or where this information came from. It is possible the source of the leak was Caroline Watt.
"Mrs Vardy certainly doesn't want to be in court. All she wants is to be vindicated that she is not the person who leaked Mrs Rooney's private information as was alleged.
"An allegation that has had a huge negative impact on her."
Rebekah accused of 'deliberate lies'
Today Rebekah was blasted for telling the court "deliberate lies" by Coleen's lawyer.
The lawyer claims she and agent Caroline Watt are the "only possible suspects" for leaks about the Rooneys - and the pair "deliberately" destroyed evidence.
But Rebekah's barrister has hit back this afternoon, claiming it's "highly implausible" that his client is "clever or cynical enough" to get rid of crucial messages ahead of the trial.
This morning, David Sherborne, for Coleen, said the Wag believes Rebekah is responsible "even more now" than she did when she made the accusation.
He reminded the court that there has been no evidence from Miss Watt, who dropped her phone in the North Sea days after being ordered to hand it over to the court.
A "substantial" amount of evidence from Miss Watt and Rebekah was also lost when chats were accidentally deleted, it was heard.
"It was done to cover up incriminating evidence," Mr Sherborne alleged this morning.
"The only plausible explanation is manual deletion by the claimant herself."
He blasted mum-of-five Becky as an "entirely unreliable witness" whose memory was "selective" - and said Coleen had been "honest".
'Traumatic' court case
On Tuesday Caring Wayne told the court how the high-profile case has affected Coleen.

The ex-Utd star said he "didn't want to get involved" but said the whole saga has been "really traumatic" for Coleen.
Wayne added: "I've watched my wife over the past two, two and a half years, really struggle with everything that's gone on… become a different mother, a different wife.
"Hopefully whatever the judgment is… my wife, our children can go on and live our lives.
"This isn't something we want to be part of."
'Awkward' chat with Jamie Vardy
In one of the more sensational claims, Wayne said he was asked to speak to Jamie about Rebekah back at the 2016 Euros in France.
The footballer was approached by ex-England gaffer Roy Hogdson and assistant manager Gary Neville, who pleaded with him to speak to the striker.
He said there had been "negative media coverage" and "issues" surrounding Rebekah that were "causing problems and distractions".
Wayne added: "They asked me, as captain, would I be able to speak to Mr Vardy on issues regarding his wife and I think we all knew that it was an awkward subject.
"I'd need to speak to Mr Vardy and ask him to speak to his wife and ask him to say to ask his wife to calm down."
He continued: "It was an awkward situation for me and I'm sure it was an awkward situation for Mr Vardy, but I felt it was in the best interests of the team."
Jamie's own rebuttal
It wasn't just the Wags at war on Tuesday but also the Habs (husbands and boyfriends) as Jamie waded into the row.
The Leicester ace made his first appearance at the court today in spectacular fashion as he slammed Wayne's claims about Euro 2016.
In a statement outside the High Court, he said: "Wayne is talking nonsense.
"He must be confused because he never spoke to me about issues concerning Becky's media work at Euro 2016.
"There was nothing to speak about, I know this because I discuss everything with Becky."
Jamie's sensational denial is sure to do nothing for the former teammate's relationship after Wayne also revealed he has never "particularly been friends" with the player.
It also appears Jamie effectively accused Wayne of lying in court - even though the former Premier League star doubled-down on his claims earlier when grilled on the stand.

When asked if he'd ever actually had the conversation with Jamie, Wayne said: "I'm sat here under oath, I 100% spoke to Mr Vardy on the situation.
"If he wants to relay that back to his wife that's entirely his decision."
