WILD X Factor star Sohelia Clifford has revealed she’s bisexual — and fancies Mel B.
The singer, 18, encountered the Spice Girl at Simon Cowell’s judges’ house in Malibu and made an approach, only to be turned down.
Mel, who’s previously admitted to having same sex flings in the past, said: “Those days are gone, I am married.”
Beauty queen Sohelia is competing for a place in the X Factor live finals as part of Simon’s female under U25 category.
She wowed judges in the audition round after revealing her parents remortgaged their house in a bid to realise her dream.
When asked if she’s ever kissed a girl, she said: “I have and I’m not afraid to admit that. It’s nothing serious. A girl’s a girl — a guy’s a guy.”
And she’s clearly not concerned about whether her sexually orientation will define her in the industry, saying: “People are people. It’s 2016, gender shouldn’t matter. You should fall for anybody. Personality is personality. It’s great to be able to fall for anyone.
“It’s just good not to put pressure on anything in life. Just see what happens, see who you meet.”
Having made the judges houses round, she was once again asked to prove her worth not just to Simon, but his trusted sidekicks for the day Mel and fellow Spice Girl Emma Bunton.
On performing in front of the pop legends, she said: “The Spice Girls are absolutely stunning.
“They’re so diddy though. Mel B looks incredible. She looks fantastic.
“And Emma, she came and gave me a hug. Whatever that material is she was wearing, she was so soft to hug.
“I’d be Sassy Spice.”
