Charlize Theron reveals fuller figure after ‘gaining 35lbs’ for new role as mum of three in Tully
The actress previously put on weight for her Oscar-winning performance in Monster
CHARLIZE Theron has revealed a fuller figure on the set of her new film Tully.
Dressed in a dowdy pair of jeans, t-shirt and checked shirt, the Hollywood actress plays a mother-of-three in the comedy directed by Jason Reitman.
And while it's not been confirmed whether the star's weight gain is the result of a body suit or Charlize's well-known commitment to realistically portraying her characters, the 41-year-old looked a mile away from her usual red carpet glam.
Charlize got Hollywood - and beyond - talking when she won an Oscar on 2004 for her portrayal of serial killer Aileen Wuornos in Monster.
Gaining 30lbs for that role by eating "donuts" and "potato chips", Charlize has commented in the past: "I've tried most of my career to transform myself towards characters.

"My job as an actor, and the part of my job that I love is the transforming and becoming aspect of it, and so it doesn't become about me anymore."
And her commitment paid off, because as well as getting an Oscar for the role, she was also celebrated with Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Awards.
Now focusing on her current role in Tully, filming in Vancouver, Charlize stars as Marlo, whose brother pays for her to have a night nanny.
Written by Diablo Cody, Marlo goes on to form a unique bond with the challenging young nanny, called Tully, expected to be played by Mackenzie Davis.
