Jamie Vardy’s hidden swipe at Coleen and Wayne Rooney in sensational statement at Wagatha showdown
JAMIE Vardy today hit back at Coleen and Wayne Rooney with a swipe hidden in his sensational statement at the Wagatha showdown.
Jamie and Wayne have found themselves dragged into the Wagatha battle after Coleen accused Rebekah, 39, of leaking stories to the press.
Coleen turned detective in October 2019 and accused Rebekah of sharing stories from her personal Instagram account.
In the infamous post, Coleen said she posted a string of false stories via her Instagram account with restricted access to see if they appeared in the media, which they did.
She then said the fake stories had only been viewed by one person, and ended dramatically: “It’s . . . Rebekah Vardy’s account.”
Rebekah, who was heavily pregnant at the time, denied the allegations and claimed she was heavily abused as a result.
Today the wag’s husbands weighed in on what occurred - and Jamie used his statement outside the court to make a dig at his fellow footballer.

It kicked off as Loyal Wayne defended his wife as he gave evidence at the explosive trial.
He spent the morning telling the court that he "doesn't discuss anything with Coleen".
He said “This trial is the first time I'm hearing almost everything in this case. It's been a long week.
"My wife is an independent woman who does her own thing and I didn't want to get involved in what the situation was."
He added: "I've never discussed it really with my wife.
Later in the day, Jamie contrasted Wayne’s claim in a sensational statement outside the High Court, where he said he "discusses everything with Becky".
'NONSENSE'
In a dig at Wayne, he said: "Wayne is talking nonsense.
"He must be confused because he never spoke to me about issues concerning Becky's media work at Euro 2016.
"There was nothing to speak about, I know this because I discuss everything with Becky."
Then Jamie went outside and did a sensational statement to hit out at the nonsense claims but said he "discusses everything with Becky".
It comes as the Vardys today arrived and sat hand in hand - clearly trying to show they are "very much together".
Meanwhile yesterday Coleen revealed yesterday how her and Wayne’s 14-year marriage hasn't always been plain sailing.
RELATIONSHIP TROUBLE
Hugh Tomlinson QC, for Rebekah, referenced Wayne's drink-driving arrest in 2017 where he was caught driving a party girl's car.
The barrister said it was "another apparent crisis" in their relationship and that the ex-Utd star had been "misbehaving".
Coleen added: "Yes there have been a few. It's unfortunate that things have happened in my life.
"They get publicised and it's happened quite a few times.
"I have dealt with it, we have dealt with it, as a couple and as a family.
"There were a few things over these few years."
And Coleen told on Friday how she was in a "vulnerable situation" after Wayne was arrested for drink-driving following a ten-hour booze session.
The Derby manager was driving party girl Laura Simpson home in her VW Beetle when cops swooped back in 2017 while Coleen was pregnant.
