3 bombshell revelations in Wagatha Christie showdown as Wayne Rooney takes aim at Vardy
BOMBSHELL revelations exploded at the Wagatha Christie showdown today as Wayne Rooney stuck the boot into the Vardy camp.
The Derby County manager was forced to wade into the row today after Coleen accused Rebekah Vardy of leaking stories to the press.
Loyal Wayne defended his wife as he gave evidence at the explosive trial.
But some of his remarks sparked a war-of-words from Jamie Vardy as the former teammates clashed.
Here are the three most dramatic revelations from today...
'Traumatic' court case
Caring Wayne told the court how the high-profile case has affected Coleen.

The ex-Utd star said he "didn't want to get involved" but said the whole saga has been "really traumatic" for Coleen.
Wayne added: "I've watched my wife over the past two, two and a half years, really struggle with everything that's gone on… become a different mother, a different wife.
"Hopefully whatever the judgment is… my wife, our children can go on and live our lives.
"This isn't something we want to be part of."
'Awkward' chat with Jamie Vardy
In one of the more sensational claims, Wayne said he was asked to speak to Jamie about Rebekah back at the 2016 Euros in France.
The footballer was approached by ex-England gaffer Roy Hogdson and assistant manager Gary Neville, who pleaded with him to speak to the striker.
He said there had been "negative media coverage" and "issues" surrounding Rebekah that were "causing problems and distractions".
Wayne added: "They asked me, as captain, would I be able to speak to Mr Vardy on issues regarding his wife and I think we all knew that it was an awkward subject.
"I'd need to speak to Mr Vardy and ask him to speak to his wife and ask him to say to ask his wife to calm down."
He continued: "It was an awkward situation for me and I'm sure it was an awkward situation for Mr Vardy, but I felt it was in the best interests of the team."
Jamie's own rebuttal
It wasn't just the Wags at war today but also the Habs (husbands and boyfriends) as Jamie waded into the row.
The Leicester ace made his first appearance at the court today in spectacular fashion as he slammed Wayne's claims about Euro 2016.
In a statement outside the High Court, he said: "Wayne is talking nonsense.
"He must be confused because he never spoke to me about issues concerning Becky's media work at Euro 2016.
"There was nothing to speak about, I know this because I discuss everything with Becky."
Jamie's sensational denial is sure to do nothing for the former teammate's relationship after Wayne also revealed he has never "particularly been friends" with the player.
It also appears Jamie effectively accused Wayne of lying in court - even though the former Premier League star doubled-down on his claims earlier when grilled on the stand.

When asked if he'd ever actually had the conversation with Jamie, Wayne said: "I'm sat here under oath, I 100% spoke to Mr Vardy on the situation.
