Who is Ryan Lawrie? X Factor wildcard joining Nicole Scherzinger’s Boys category – here’s what we know
X FACTOR contestant Ryan Lawrie has been revealed as the wildcard choice for Nicole Scherzinger's Boys category, chosen by fellow judge Simon Cowell.
Ryan initially auditioned singing The Vamps' 'Cecilia', which gave him his place in The X Factor bootcamp.
And the 20 year old from Scotland is no stranger to fame, having previously won a competition to sing in front of an 80,000 strong crowd of fans at Capital FM's Summertime Ball.
The young singer has also already released a single, and was forced to hit back at fix accusations, defending the single which was produced for charity.
The Sun Online revealed that Ryan is dating fellow X Factor contestant Emily Middlemas, after meeting during the process.

Emily, who is 18, was picked by Simon Cowell during the six chair challenge to progress to judges houses, and the pair have confirmed their relationship through a series of tweets.
As X Factor fans watched Emily successfully secure a seat on Saturday, Ryan wrote on Twitter: “I am the proudest boyfriend in the world right now @emilymiddlemas_ I am such a lucky guy. You were incredible.”
He later added “Happy birthday to the most important person in my life. @emilymiddlemas_ you are the best thing that’s ever happened to me. I love you.”
Emily, 18, responded: “I have the best boyfriend in the world. I am so lucky. Thank you for everything. I love my new beautiful necklace too. My boy. I love you.”
Ryan revealed his exclusive wildcard news to fans via his Twitter page, including images of fellow wild card acts: Yes Lad for Louis' groups, Saara Aalto for Sharon's overs and Samantha Lavery for Simon Cowell's girls.
