S Club 7’s Jo O’Meara shares snaps of rarely-seen son as he turns 14

JO O'Meara has shared some snaps of her rarely-seen son to celebrate his 14th birthday.

The S Club 7 star posted the photos on Instagram showing her cuddling up to Lenny who towered over his petite mum.

Singer Jo, 43, can be seen beaming in the snaps as she cuddles up to her boy.

She captioned her upload: "Happy 14th birthday to my not so little Len!!! Hopefully he will stop growing soon 😂😂

"You mean the world to me and more darling and I love you the sun the moon And all the stars in the sky !! 

"Will he kill me ??? Yes yes he will 😂 Happy birthday Lenny ❤️❤️."

Jo's friends and followers rushed to send well-wishes to Lenny, with her former S Club 7 bandmate Rachel Stevens writing: "Aww happy birthday to your gorgeous boy❤️."

Actress Danniella Westbrook added: "So cute happy birthday Lenny x."

Jo, who shares Lenny with her ex Bill Slate, previously opened up to The Sun about co-parenting her son.

She said: "Things have always been very easy and amicable.

"We’ve always had quite a united front as far as Lenny’s concerned, and he’s a fantastic dad.

"He’s in a new relationship and he’s happy and she’s lovely – I get along with her.

"I think it’s nice for Lenny. I don’t want to be those feuding parents."

Jo, who last year released her second solo album With Love, also opened up about the prospect of reuniting with her S Club bandmates - Rachel, Hannah Spearritt, Tina Barrett, Jon Lee, Bradley McIntosh and Paul Cattermole.

She said: "There’s been no official meetings or chats about it. At this second, I’m concentrating on my solo stuff — the album and singles — but I can’t predict what’s going to happen in the future. I’ll leave it there.”
