The four contestants - picked by one judge for their fellow panellist's category - will join Honey G in the line-up, after Ivy Grace Paredes had to withdraw from the competition because of visa issues.

Honey G said: "I think Ivy's voice is incredible and she's very talented. She definitely would have gone very far in the competition if she had stayed.

"Obviously it's a great shame she couldn't progress but I'm very lucky and very happy to be back in the competition, a complete stroke of luck for me.

Simon opted to give Nicole Scherzinger Ryan Lawrie, who failed to make it through to Judges' Houses initially after being put in a boy band.

He explained: "It was totally unexpected and I was absolutely buzzing to get a call from Simon. I’m really excited for it and with all the feelings and emotions running through me it just doesn’t feel real at all.

“I want to show Nicole why Simon brought me back."

Saara Aalto was selected by Nicole for Sharon Osbourne and has promised to give “110 percent”.

“We have Sharon on our side and she said that she believed in us so hopefully Louis will listen to her."
