EastEnders tension as Pam Coker visits the mother of one of grandson Paul’s killers
The grieving grandmother goes against her husband’s wishes
SUPPORTED by her friend Kathy Beale, Pam Coker is set to come face-to-face with the mother of one of the thugs who violently killed her beloved grandson.
Brave Pam (Lin Blakley) makes the decision to arrange a meeting with Diane to try and make sense of why Paul was murdered.
Her undertaker husband Les wants no part of it though and urges Pam not to go through with her plan.
Newly released pictures however show Pam meeting smartly presented Diane at a café with Kathy (Gillian Taylforth) by her side.
Will Pam get the answers she is after?
Paul was killed by a gang earlier this year in a brutal homophobic attack.
His devastated boyfriend Ben attempted to get revenge against them and found himself and pal Jay Brown in danger when they got kidnapped.
Ben’s uncle Phil Mitchell (Ross Kemp) and cousin Mark Fowler Junior (Ned Porteous) thankfully arrived just in time.
EastEnders airs these scenes on Tuesday October 4 at 7:30pm on BBC One.
