LAURA WHITMORE had a secret fan in Friday’s Strictly audience – her jungle pal Joe Swash of I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here fame.

Presenter Laura, 31, wowed in a white Grecian-style dress as she did the cha cha with partner Giovanni Pernice, 26.

It was a far cry from her rainforest days.

Actor Joe, 34, has said he’d love to have a bash at Strictly Come Dancing but is a “terrible” dancer.

The pair previously presented spin-off show I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here... Now! together.

Joe was crowned King of the Jungle on the eighth series of the show.

We're sure he would have been pleased to see Laura do well – though judge Craig Revel Horwood commented she was “unstable” at times.

Meanwhile Louise Redknapp was cheered on by ex-footballer husband Jamie as she made her debut in the ballroom.

The former Liverpool ace was on hand to support his wife as she performed an energetic jive with Kevin Clifton to Jump, Jive An’ Wail by the Brian Setzer Orchestra.

After the performance, Jamie couldn’t hide his pride in the mum-of-two, giving her a standing ovation.

A fellow audience member said: “Louise gave it her all, and Jamie, who watched every step, was clearly delighted.

“Louise was nervous beforehand, like all of the others, but she really seems to be one to watch.”
