Madonna celebrates four decades of dance hits with huge career-spanning album
MADONNA will kick off her 40th anniversary in music with two career-spanning compilation records.
The Queen of Pop is the only recording artist to have had 50 No1 hits on any Billboard chart in the US, after topping its Dance Club chart for the 50th time in 2020 with I Don’t Search I Find.
Now she is using a lyric from that song for the two new collections.
Finally Enough Love: 50 Number Ones will be a 50-track record including her favourite remixes of those dance hits, while an abridged 16-track version called Finally Enough Love is also being released.
The 50-track album will be out on vinyl, CD and digitally on August 19, while Finally Enough Love will be released digitally on June 24.
But there is even more to be excited about from Madonna, whose debut single Everybody will turn 40 on October 6.

Her team said last night: “Expect more surprises to be revealed later this year around the celebration of Madonna’s 40 years in music.”
She already has a new album of original music and a biopic in the works but I am excited to see what else she pulls out of the bag.
DUA JOINS THE PINK LADIES
DUA LIPA let her hair down in a hot pink blazer combo as she marked the end of her UK tour.
She headed to celebrity hangout Chiltern Firehouse in London after a second sold-out show at the O2 Arena on Tuesday evening, which she described on stage as “one of the best nights of my life”.

The Levitating singer told the crowd: “This feels like an absolute dream and a real one for me that I have been dreaming about for so long.
"It feels surreal to be up here.
“I thought it was going to be easy but I’m f***ing terrified. I’m nervous but this is the most fun.
“It’s a massive head rush. It feels so special to be home and to put this show on.”
Dua has a famous fan in US rapper Jack Harlow too, as he pays tribute to her on his upcoming album, which is out tomorrow.
He has released the tracklist to Come Home The Kids Miss You and as well as collaborations with Drake, Justin Timberlake and Pharrell, it includes a track with the title Dua Lipa.
I’m sure she will be flattered.
A SPECIAL DELIVERY FOR POST
POST MALONE is to become a dad for the first time after revealing his girlfriend is pregnant.
The Sunflower singer who has kept his partner’s identity secret, said: “I’m excited for this next chapter in my life.
“I’m the happiest I’ve ever been, and for since I could remember I was sad.
“Time to take care of my body and my family and friends and spread as much love as we can every day.”
It’s not Post’s only imminent arrival, as his fourth album Twelve Carat Toothache is out on June 3.

MADNESS frontman Suggs was once so out of it at Glastonbury his manager didn’t think he would make it on stage with the band.
On ZOE BALL’s Radio 2 Breakfast Show, the pair recalled their time together at Worthy Farm in 2016 – when he borrowed her Kate Bush wig and wore it on stage.
Suggs, who was on air to promote his new song Ooh Do U Fink U R with Paul Weller, said: “I was sitting in that wig in a deck chair in the pouring rain and I thought, ‘Jesus Christ! It is eight-o- clock, I am on in an hour’.
"I was trying to stand up and my tour manager was like, ‘It’s nine-o-clock in the morning, you idiot’.
"I had 12 hours to go, coming down, plummet airlines. I heard my tour manager behind me say, ‘I don’t think he is going to make it’.”
He wasn’t the only one feeling rough that day, as Zoe said: “Suggs talked me off a ledge at Glastonbury after one too many shandies.
"I loved that day."
AVA TAKES IT TO THE MAX
AVA MAX sings about the end of a relationship on her new tune – but she won’t be single for long with photos like this.
The Sweet But Psycho singer shared this image of herself in a pink bikini while on holiday in Hawaii.
She jetted off following the release last Friday of Maybe You’re The Problem, the first song from her as-yet untitled second album.
Ava told Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1: “I was in a really long relationship and no one knows this about me because I never talk about my personal life . . . but then it changed.
“This album is about my life and what I went through in the last year and heartbreak.
“It’s basically heartbreak on the dance floor.”
MEG HAS A BITE IN BIG APPLE
MEGAN THEE STALLION’s mood was far from blue, even if her outfit was.
The rapper, rocking a short dress with tassels, beamed as she arrived for a family dinner in New York.
And she had good reason to smile, after being awarded the key to her home city of Houston in Texas by its mayor over the weekend.
It was also declared that from now on, May 2 will be known as Megan Thee Stallion Day there.
She had a show in Memphis after getting the honour, then flew to the Big Apple for the Met Gala on Monday evening.
I’m surprised she had enough energy left to get all dolled up again in this frock by Tuesday.
NOEL’S PUFF OF LEGEND
NOEL GALLAGHER seems to know how to hit the right note when creating new work – getting stoned.
The ex-Oasis rocker is among the best songwriters of his generation.
Now Noel has revealed a new track, called There She Blows, was created for his upcoming album after he smoked a large amount of cannabis in Los Angeles.
He said: “There was a book in the hotel and it was Moby-Dick.
“So I went into MedMen, the shop that sells weed, and I bought a load of f***ing weed and wrote some f***ing mad, nautical nonsense for this tune.
"It’s ended up on my album, it’s f***ing great.
“I listened to the lyrics and even my band have been going, ‘What’s all that about?’. I’m like, ‘F knows’.

"It’s a great tune, it sounds like The Beatles. It’s sort of nautical bulls**t.”
I’ll reserve judgment until I’ve heard it.
