Geri Horner posts picture of her ideal breakfast complete with the country’s favourite newspaper
Former Spice Girls tucks into something special for the weekend
WE know what Geri Horner likes to have with her breakfast – The Sun newspaper.
The 44-year-old revealed her morning ritual in a snap on Instagram.
In it Geri could be seen tucking into a hearty fry-up of baked beans, friend eggs, two rashers of bacon, a sausage, mushrooms and two slices of buttered toast.
The former Spice Girl made sure that she was well hydrated with a bottle of water visible along with a good old fashioned cup of tea.
Nestled underneath her plates on the table was a copy of Saturday’s edition.
She told her 267k followers: “Full English”.
It comes as speculation is rife that the wife of F1 ace Christian Horner is set to join Great British Bake Off when it moves from BBC One over to Channel 4.
Geri impressed after appearing on the show earlier this year during a special Sport Relief version.
The mum-of-one has also been known to frequently show-off her baking skills online.
It's thought that show makers Love Productions are considering Geri, who had good chemistry with GBBO judge Paul Hollywood, who has signed a deal for the Channel 4 version.
A source told The Sun: “Geri is a bit of a curveball idea, but bosses face a tough ask to get her on board.
“She’s not done much presenting and has big music commitments.”
Geri recently confirmed that she is re-joining former bandmates Emma Bunton, 40, and Mel B, 41, for a Spice Girls reunion.
Working under the collective name “Gem,” the trio have been busy in the recording studio and have plans to tour.
Other names being thrown into the ring to replace current show presenters Mel Giedroyc, 48, and Sue Perkins, 47, include Kirstie Allsopp and Master Chef star Lisa Faulkner.
Meanwhile, strict pastry baker Cherish Finden has been suggested as a successor for beloved judge Mary Berry.
