McQueen weddings never run smoothly, so a double wedding was always bound to go off the rails in spectacular style.
It doesn’t help that one of the couples tying the knot aren’t in love – Celine is marrying Diego so he and Myra can get their hands on his mother’s money.
As for Mercedes and Joe, their relationship is in serious trouble thanks to Joanne’s obsession with the groom.
Neither Myra nor Celine are happy as the ceremony approaches – Myra’s hurt when Diego tells her to stay away from the church in case Juanita susses what’s going on, while Celine can’t fight her feelings for Jesse.
Mercedes is in the doghouse too, as she forgets to pick up her marriage licence and Joe is forced to ask solicitor Joanne for help.
Still, everything seems to be going to plan as the ladies head out on their joint hen night, with bridesmaids Tegan and Cindy battling to throw the best party.
Leela and Courtney persuade heartbroken Jesse to ask out Tegan, but when he arrives at the McQueens’ he ends up kissing Celine.
Meanwhile, Tegan and Cindy’s rivalry leads to a fight in the village, and the hens are carted off to the police station – where Joanne plants drugs in Mercedes’ bag…
The following morning, Mercy struggles to keep her arrest from Joe, while Jesse is miffed when Celine blanks him – until Liam makes a startling discovery.
