Peter Andre baffled as new biography ‘reveals his real name’

PETER Andre was baffled tonight after a biography suggested he is also known by a very different name.

The TV star and Mysterious Girl singer posted a screengrab of the online factfile about his life.

But the item that left him most confused was the one claiming he was also known as "Peter Mirigliani".

It listed his full names as Peter James Andrea but said he was "also known as" Mirigliani.

He posted a grab of it online, ringing the unfamiliar name with a large blue circle with an arrow pointing to it.

The 49-year-old star boggled: "Erm... am I?"

The bizarre claim was all the more unusual because the rest of the information about him - from his place of birth in London's Harrow to his birthday - was spot-on.

It even correctly listed his real surname as Andrea instead of the Andre name he used when he rose to fame as a singer.

His doctor wife Emily, 32, uses the surname on her Instagram account and elsewhere.

Speaking in 2016 she told  that it was Andréa, adding: “It’s on all the children’s birth certificates and is now my surname.”

Peter, as the online profile he shared details, rose to stardom in the 90s after winning the Aussie talent show New Faces.

He returned to the UK and became a almost instant success as a pop icon with his penchant for appearing topless and showing off his washboard abs.

His hit Mysterious Girl saw him shift boxloads of records and repeatedly appear on Top of the Pops.

Later, the star appearing on I'm A Celeb in 2004, where he struck up a romance with future wife (and future ex-wife) Katie Price.

The move cemented his place as one of Britain's biggest stars.

He admitted during an interview in 2019: "It's a really good thing. It did change my life. You know my two children, my two eldest, are the only two to ever come from that show."
