They may be taking weekends by storm at the helm of The Xtra Factor, but let’s not forget, Rylan Clark-Neal and Matt Edmondson have been on the presenting scene for a while. So who’s got more celebrity mates?
Matt: Well, my only celebrity friend is Rylan. You’re friends with Pricey, aren’t you? All my friends that I hang out with, I went to school with.
Rylan: But you know everyone with your job. I haven’t got any friends. That’s not a joke.

Rylan: Yeah, I’ve got Flack. Carl Froch. He was going to personal train me. We’re not on ‘D’ yet, I’ve got a lot of ‘C’s. Chesney Hawkes.
Matt: Dermot O’Leary.
Rylan: Yeah, I’ve got Derm.
Matt: Dougie Poynter.
Rylan: Danniella Westbrook and Danny Dyer.
Matt: Right, ‘E’. Ed Sheeran. And Ellie Goulding. Quite near each other, which is awkward.
Rylan: Eamonn Holmes. Emma Willis.
Matt: Right, what about ‘F’? Fearne Cotton.
Rylan: Fatman Scoop! Right, we’re on ‘G’ now. Gary Barlow. Gillian McKeith. George Shelley. Gok! Graham Norton… and Graham Norton ‘new’.

Matt: I’ve got Greg Rutherford. ‘H’?… Harry Styles. I don’t know if it’s still his number. Ooh, I’ve got two numbers for Harry Styles.
Rylan: Holly Willoughby. Jack Whitehall. Jake Quickenden. James Arthur. Janice Dickinson. Jeff Brazier. Jessie Wallace. Joe Pasquale! Didn’t know I had that. Joey Essex and John Torode.
Matt: I’ve got Joe Swash. ‘J’s are good for you. Although I do have Konnie Huq under ‘K’.
Rylan: I’ve got Kathy Burke and Kathy Beale next to each other. The way I speak to Kathy Burke is very different to the way I speak to Gillian Taylforth. I speak to Kathy Burke like: ‘Alright c***?’ And she sends ones like that back. I accidentally pressed Kathy Beale instead of Kathy Burke and sent Gillian a really rude message. I’ve also got Katie Price. And Kerry Katona.
Matt: We could do this for days and we’re only half way through the alphabet.

Matt: Ooh, I don’t think ‘P’ is a strong category for me. I’ve got absolutely no-one. But I’ve got Scott Mills and Stephen Mulhern.
Rylan: Yeah I’ve got Mulhern. Schofe! Shane Richie. Ooh. Sharon. Osbourne.
Matt: You’ve got Sharon’s number? What the f***? It’ll be her US one, she’s not given you her UK one.
Rylan: She only uses this one.
Matt: Think of the roaming charges!
Rylan: Oh, Sinitta!
Matt: You’ve got Sinitta’s number as well?! What this has told us is, I need to have a bit of a cull.
Rylan: Stevi Richie.
Matt: So, to answer your question, Rylan has the most celeb mates.
Rylan: But together we could take over the world.
