This Morning’s Holly Willoughby confirmed as host of ITV’s new dating show Meet The Parents

HOLLY WILLOUGHBY can officially add cupid to her CV.

The This Morning host has been unveiled as the new host of ITV’s new dating show Meet The Parents.

I told how Holly was picked out by bosses in January to present a pilot episode, which sees mums and dads choose suitors for their single sons and daughters – and has since passed with flying colours.

The show will see the contestant ask the parents of their potential suitors’ absolutely anything, with them revealing all about their relationship history and cringe-worthy childhood stories.

Holly said: “We all know how embarrassing parents can be and nobody knows you better than they do.

“I can’t wait to hear what humiliating secrets they’ll be revealing and see who will regret leaving their love life in the hands of their parents.”

By taking on a dating show, it’s the second time Holly has followed in the footsteps of Blind Date legend CILLA BLACK, having previously hosted the revamped version of Cilla’s ITV favourite Surprise Surprise.

Sounds like there’ll be a few surprises on this show, too.
