WITH Strictly Come Dancing officially set to kick off this weekend, the budding celebrity dancers are being put through their final paces by the professional partners.
And for the likes of Daisy Lowe and Laura Whitmore, this meant getting up close and personal – all in the hope of getting top scores from the BBC1 show‘s judges.
Model Daisy, 27, has been paired with Alijaz Skorjanec and the two were all smiles as they practised their Waltz for the first week of shows.
Irish presenter Laura, 31, seemed to get an attack of the giggles as Giovanni Pernice took her through her paces in the rehearsal room.
The pair will dance the Cha Cha to the track ‘Venus’.
Even former Shadow Chancellor Ed Balls was giving it his all, perfecting his posture for his and partner Katya Jones’ take on the Waltz.
BBC presenters Naga Munchetty and Ore Oduba, actress Lesley Joseph and singer Will Young showed the concentration on their faces as they limbered up, ready to strut their stuff.
Judge Rinder gave a glimpse of his talent as his rotated his hips in front of the mirror, led by his blonde partner Oksana Platero.
EastEnders star Tameka Empson also couldn’t resist a giggle as danced with Gorka Marquez – but the pair then displayed a near perfect lift.
Nerves could also be seen as the familiar faces gathered their thoughts ahead of the first round of live shows, with former All Saints singer Louise Redknapp discussing her concerns on camera.
Olympians Claudia Fragapane and Greg Rutherford were also spied getting into the groove.
