The weather presenter has opened up about a traumatising incident that has left her looking over her shoulder
SIAN Lloyd has opened up about her stalker hell on This Morning and said the experienced has "ruined her life" and left her feeling afraid in her own home.
The weathergirl revealed the stalker attended a rally where she had been presenting awards and she returned home to find a letter with explicit pictures inside.
The 58-year-old said the incident had a long-lasting impact on her and that she's even afraid to open to mail.
Speaking to hosts Holly Willoughby and Paul Schofiled, Sian opened up about how the mystery stalker is making her fear for her life.
She said: "I've had several incidents of stalking, one was obscene telephone calls which I dealt with.
"Another was someone actually turning up to my work in the weather office and the big burly director I had managed to throw him out so that was OK.
"This is the worst because I'm having obscene pictures of genitalia being sent to me with obscene letters and it's being sent to my home address - that really does knock your confidence for six."
Sian said she has no idea who the stalker is and said it's making her fearful in her own home.
She explained: "I know he was at the rally I presented because he said so in the letter but I don't know if I had a selfie with him or shook his hand or if he received an award."
A telephone number was also included in the letter but it didn't help in tracking him down.
She said: "It was a pay as you go telephone and I went straight to the police, they were brilliant. I have the best alarm system, CCTV, I could do mastermind on how to protect your home. But they were not able to track him down."

"The letters have continued are they're getting more and more obscene, from all the things he wants to do with me so I feel violated.
"The horrible thing is he knows where I live.
"I am scared, it's constantly being scared. It's like a weight upon you, it really has dented my confidence to the extent that I'm wobbly when I collect the mail as it comes through the door.
"I have nightmares and I will not be in the house on my own.
"Now with work I'll accept the offers of hotel rooms whereas before I used to love going home to my own bed."
Sian was also joined by former policeman Hamish Brown who advised viewers what to do if they find themselves in a similar situation.
He said: "Stalking is a nasty form of harassment so we need to remember to act normally in isolation.
"If the person does leave a phone number, don't contact them and give them that control hopefully they'll give up eventually. Please report it to the police."
Phil quizzed him on if it was a good thing for Sian to appear on the show to share her story.
He said: "This guy could be watching and now knows the effect he's having on Sian?"
Hamish explained: "That's going to be a small effect compared to the good this does by saying stalking is nasty and serious.
"The majority of people who are stalked aren't celebrities. People should report it and let it be investigated."
Sian added: "If just a few people come forward and report it to the police then it's worth me having done the interview."
724,000 women and 388,000 men in the UK have experienced stalking in the last 12 months.
