SINGER Loren Allred became a global star with her song Never Enough which featured in the film musical The Greatest Showman.

The star captured the hearts of the British public as she sang the song on Britain's Got Talent - and went straight to the semi-finals after an emotional performance.

Who is Loren Allred?

Loren Allred is an American singer, songwriter and actress, born on September 7, 1989.

She is the eldest daughter of three to musician parents.

After attending Weber State University in Ogden where she gained a degree in musical theatre, she transferred to the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts.

While she was in Boston, she would upload YouTube videos, to which she was then discovered by music artist Ne-Yo.

Loren appeared in the first episode of Britain's Got Talent's series 15, wowing the judges and the public with her performance of her song Never Enough.

She won a golden buzzer from Amanda Holden, which put her straight through to the semi-finals of the show.

In 2012, Allred was a contestant on The Voice, where she chose Adam Levine to be her coach.

She was eliminated after the first week of live playoffs, and came in at 13th place.

In 2014, she was a member of the recording ensemble for the film musical - The Greatest Showman.

The film soundtrack and songs were so successful that they ended up topping the Billboard album charts in January 2018.

Allred’s featured song, Never Enough also reached number 88 on the Hot 100.

Her vocal performance of the song has received worldwide recognition and praise.

Notable artists such as Jennifer Hudson, Nicole Scherzinger, Katharine McPhee and Morissette Amon are just a few of those that have covered the song.

In 2019, she joined music legend, Michael Bublé's Love album for a duet of Help Me Make it Through the Night.

Then In 2021, she joined Andrea Bocelli for some performances on his USA Tour.
