Denise Van Outen shares adorable snap of young looking mum on birthday night out

DENISE Van Outen shared a rare picture of her mum as they celebrated her birthday last night.

The 47-year-old headed to a local restaurant with Kathleen to mark the occasion with a family meal.

Sharing a picture of her mum with a huge slab of cake, Denise wrote: “Happy birthday mum.”

It comes after her ex Eddie Boxshall took another swipe at her following their bitter split.

Alongside a snap of him tucking into pie and mash, he wrote:  “Everything I ever did was wrong, I should have known it all aloooooong…There ain’t no pleasing you!!!! (but this pleases me!)"

Denise threw out fiance Eddie for sexting other women behind her back.

She later opened up about the moment she found her love rat partner, whom she had been with for seven years, was covering his tracks as he cheated on her.

The TV favourite was told her fiancé had gone on her phone to block a woman from contacting her on Instagram in a bid to keep their relationship secret.

She went on to learn he had been doing the same with another woman too, even while they were planning their wedding.

He had also met with a third and had a pub bust-up with her boyfriend.

In autobiography A Bit of Me, Denise told of the details of why she dumped Boxshall last year — and how she finally caught him out by turning detective and searching a deleted folder on his iPad.

Yet the ballsy theatre star is not letting her ex's love rat antics bring her down - exclusively telling The Sun she "can't wait" to find love again.

Denise told The Sun: “I feel like I’m in a really good place. I wasn’t - I was really hurt. And there’s still an element of hurt there but I’m dealing with it better now.

“I felt so content in the relationship. But rather than sitting around and feeling down and thinking to myself, ‘My life has turned to c**p, blah blah blah’.

"I just thought, ‘No, I need to be positive about this’, and I just thought, ‘I’m going to change my mindset to, ‘I will have the opportunity now to meet someone who is honest and loyal and respectful and that I can have a really good solid relationship with.’

"And I get to fall in love again, how amazing is that?”
