Actress Leanne Best was born in Liverpool on June 15, 1979.
She trained at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, before moving to London.
Not only is Leanne a star on TV, but she is also known for her work in the movies.
She played the title role in the 2014 film The Woman in Black 2: Angel of Death, and appeared as Min Sakul in Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015).

Speaking about her character, she told : "She’s a pretty confident paramedic and mum, until a tragic incident happens, which triggers a set of post trauma-related behaviours that start to have a really negative affect on her personal life.
"At its heart, the story explores the universal themes of friendship, family, love, loss and trauma and what happens to ordinary people who are struggling in extraordinary circumstances."
