HEARTBROKEN Kate Lawler has revealed her family dog Betsy Bear 2, has tragically died after catching sepsis.
The presenter, 41, revealed the sad news on Instagram today.
Kate broke the tragic news about the passing of her sister's beloved pooch.
The Big Brother winner said: "My sister’s dog sadly crossed the rainbow bridge early this morning and she was only two years old.
"I’m absolutely heartbroken for you all , I know just how much you loved and looked after her, she was such a lucky dog to belong in your pack for the time she was here.
Since Friday little Betsy fought an infection, was put to sleep for an operation to have her uterus and ovaries removed, caught sepsis then pneumonia and in the end there was only so much her little heart could take. "

She added: "Run free Betsy Bear, we will all miss you so much."
Meanwhile just last month Kate quit her Virgin Radio job to focus on being a mum and her mental health.
She worked on the station for six years but announced she made the difficult decision to leave, just days after a hospital dash for a mystery illness.
She wrote on Instagram: "It’s not been an easy decision for me to make and I know that I’ll return to radio broadcasting in the future but right now, it’s time to take a break.
"Thank you to the bosses of Virgin Radio for being incredibly understanding and supportive of my decision and for holding the door open when the time is right to come back.
"I’ve loved working here over the past six years and I’m so grateful they wanted to make returning to work for me as easy as possible and allowed me to work flexibly, three days a week.
"I really tried to make it work while juggling lots of other projects and being a Mother, however right now, it’s no longer possible to continue the way I have been."
