Brad Pitt passionately kisses Marion Cotillard amid reports she’s ‘absolutely devastated’ to be dragged into divorce with affair claims
The actors play assassins who fall in love in their upcoming film
THIS is the moment Brad Pitt passionately kisses his Allied co-star Marion Cotillard.
It comes amid reports that the French actress - who is in a relationship with actor Guillaume Canet - is 'absolutely devastated' by claims she's the woman at the centre of his divorce from Angelina Jolie.
A source told the MailOnline: “Marion and Guillaume are blissfully happy, and these kind of claims are not what Marion wants to be hearing.
“Claims that she’s cheating on Guillaume with Brad will leave her absolutely devastated. This doesn’t sound like her at all.”
In Allied, Marion and Brad play assassins on a mission to kill a German official in 1942 who fall in love and get married in the movie – which is due for release in the US in November.
In the first trailer from the film they can be seen sharing a very intimate moment and it’s thought the movie features a number of steamy sex-scenes – which reportedly led to issues between Brad and his wife Angelia Jolie.
According to the film's producer Graham King Brad and Marion had an 'immediate connection'.
He told People over the summer: "Brad and Marion immediately had the utmost respect for each other, so once they delved into their characters, their chemistry was electric."
Today The Sun exclusively revealed that Angelina, 41, has filed for divorce from her partner of twelve years and husband of two.
And according to sensational claims in the US the actress ended the marriage after reportedly discovering the 52-year-old was having an affair with Marion.
The “well placed source” told the paper’s Page Six section that there is no turning back for the couple – worth £310 million.
They said: “She hired a private eye because she felt that he was fooling around with her on the set, and it turns out, he was.
“And that was the final straw.”
Pitt had been rumoured to have been cosying up to his Allied co-star, 40-year-old Marion Cotillard, in London for months.
If the rumours are true it means history has repeated itself – Brad and Angelina famously fell in love while filming Mr and Mrs Smith in 2004 – on which they also played assassins.
At the time he was married to Friends actress Jennifer Aniston.
Angie has hired Laura Wasser, who previously represented Johnny Depp in his divorce case with Amber Heard.
Divorce papers list the date of separation as Sept. 15, 2016 and cite irreconcilable differences for the split.
Angelina is seeking physical custody of their six children, Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Knox and Vivienne, eight, but wants a judge to give the 52-year-old actor visitation rights.
