Inside Gemma Atkinson’s first family holiday with Gorka and their daughter in Tenerife

GEMMA Atkinson has given her fans an insight into her first family holiday with fiancé Gorka Marquez and their daughter Mia.

The couple jetted to Tenerife for some fun in the sun and spent their days swimming, sunbathing and eating food together.

Sharing a video of some of their highlights, Gemma, 37, wrote:  “Tenerife 2022! You were worth the wait 🌴🌞 ✌🏻first family holiday of hopefully many! @gorka_marquez We did it! The Ritz Carlton Abama.”

In the montage, Strictly dancer Gorka is seen playing on the beach with their two year old daughter and splashing about in the pool with her.

Other snaps show Gemma cuddled up with her daughter, as well as Gorka – looking happier than ever.

Her famous pals loved the video and took to Instagram to comment on it.

Kauren Hauer wrote: “Glad you had the best time.. Mia is just the coolest little human ♥.”

Giovanni Pernice remarked: “Love this ♥”, while Dianne Buswell remarked: “Can’t deal with Mia and her peace sign 😩♥️♥️♥️♥️ it’s sooooo cute.”

Gemma later revealed things weren’t quite so perfect when they arrived back in Manchester airport, due to a series of delays.

Sharing a clip as she played games with Mia, she explained: “The staff at the airport were brilliant with us, however they are extremely understaffed which made everything so much slower.

“We arrived 4hrs before our flight and it took around 2hrs to get through security. Our flight was delayed an hour as while we boarding, some ppl on our flight were still waiting to get through security.

“Coming home we landed at 6.10 and it was 7.45 before the first baggage arrived. Again, the staff who were there were brilliant and you could see how stressful it was for them also.”

Gemma and Gorka have been together since meeting on Strictly in 2017.

The star recently revealed that more children are on the cards, telling The Sun: “Yes, we’d definitely love to give Mia a sibling. I’m one of two, Gorka’s one of two. I think growing up it’s nice to have someone.”
