CORONATION Street favourite Toyah Battersby will make a sensational return to the cobbles 13 years after she left the show
Bosses at the ITV soap have come up with an explosive story line that will see her reunited with sister Leanne for the first time since 2003.
Toyah sensationally left Wetherfield after her college lecturer boyfriend got her best friend Maria pregnant.
She has been mentioned regularly by her sister Leanne but this will be her first time back on our screens in over a decade.
With Leanne now pregnant with Steve McDonald's baby, the sisters have a lot to catch up on but it'll be a few more months before we'll find out what has brought her home to Wetherfield.
But what has Toyah been up to? Will she stay?
Plenty of drama is bound to go down in the street thanks to her return but viewers will have to wait until December to see what happens.

Actress Georgia Taylor will start filming next week and speaking about her return to the ITV soap, she said: “I am thrilled to be re-joining my old friends on the cobbles and hugely excited to be given the opportunity to explore the character of Toyah 13 years on.
“Coronation Street has always had a place in my heart and I'm delighted to be working again with my good friend Jane Danson and bringing the Battersby sisters back together.
“The script writers and producers have come up with some fantastic, clever, and detailed story-lines that have inspired me and I feel excited to get started!”
Coronation Street continues on ITV tomorrow night at 7:30pm.
Who is Toyah Battersby?
Toyah Battersby arrived on the cobbles with her parents Les and Janice and step-sister Leanne in 1997.
One of her first storylines in Wetherfield saw her running away to London at Christmas to see her biological dad Ronnie.
However, she had been led on by a stranger pretending to be her dad who abducts her.
He takes her to the woods but she manages to escape and is later found by Janice and Les.
Georgia Taylor, who played Toyah until she left he soap in 2003, said they were "some of the hardest scenes to film".
Another major storyline saw her raped and beaten by Phil Simmonds, played by Jack Deam, after she decides to walk the short distance home after a night out.
It marked the first time in 40 years producers had included a rape storyline on the soap.
Toyah later starts going out with her college tutor John Arnley, but her flatmates and long-running Corrie stars Fiz and Maria didn't like him.
During a row with Toyah, Fiz tells her that John slept with Maria which resulted in her getting pregnant.
Mariah gives the impression that John forced himself on her and Toyah confronts him in front of his class.
She then breaks up with him, reunites with ex-boyfriend Spider and the pair move to London together.
During her time on Coronation Street, Georgia won Best Young Actor at the Inside Soap Awards and Best Dramatic Performance at The British Soap Awards.
Georgia will start filming again next week with her new scenes airing at Christmas.
