Gemma Collins really IS a diva and Denise Van Outen is the worst celeb partner I’ve had, says Dancing On Ice star
DANCING On Ice star Matt Evers has dished on his former dance partners including his least favourite.
The pro skater, who was partnered with Corrie's Sally Dynevor in the competition this year, opened up about the challenges of partnering up with famous names.
Speaking to Vicky Pattison on her podcast, Matt responded to her question about which celebrity he like dancing with the least.
"I would have to say my least favourite was Denise Van Outen because she got injured so early in the show," he declared.
"Denise is such a fun human being and she had such potential to do really well in the show."
Denise dislocated her shoulder and fractured the bone in three places after she took a tumble on the ice during rehearsals in late 2020.
Matt then opened up on the rumours that Gemma Collins was a handful behind the scenes.
"When I danced with Gemma, that was hard for her and that was hard on me, and there were all these stories that came out and that she was such a diva backstage and yeah she did have her moments but she did always show up," Matt revealed.

Matt went on to talk about how working with celebrities he's learned that they are "two people."
"There's the human, there's the persona but then they start to believe they start to believe that persona themselves and they have to... believe in their craft."
Matt also told Vicky it wasn't fair that the final three celebs in this year's competition were dancers.
On Sunday Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt, Strictly star Brendan Cole and dancer Regan Gascoigne battled it out for the top spot.

It was Regan who was crowned winner of Dancing On Ice 2022.
Many slammed the ITV show as a "fix" because of their dancing backgrounds.
Matt addressed the comments and said: "Is it fair that we have three professional dancers in this year’s final? Hmm… not necessarily.
"That’s a big question mark, right?
"But yeah, we’re in an interesting situation right now that the standard of the show has gotten so high."

The TV star - who has taken part on the show since 2006 - went onto say that he hopes that it doesn't stop people from wanting to take part.
He continued: "I pray that this doesn't affect future casts, or someone like yourself who’s like, ‘I would love to do Dancing On Ice but I’m never going to win because I’m not a professional dancer’."
