Molly-Mae Hague fans all saying the same thing as she works on PLT fashion show in new documentary
MOLLY-MAE Hague's latest YouTube video has been dubbed as "fake and staged" by confused fans.
The influencer, 22, who was recently appointed fast-fashion brand Pretty Little Thing's UK Creative Director, has been the figurehead in a new series of clips.
The short series PLT By Molly-Mae - The Documentary has seen Molly flourish in her business role ahead of the company's first ever show at London Fashion Week.
The third episode depicted behind-the-scenes dramas shortly prior to the live catwalk, which involved the front row bench collapsing hours before doors opened.
Molly designed the entire collection to grace the runway and can be seen getting "nervous and excited" alongside her "buzzing" manager Francesca Britton.
Yet some of the Filter tan brand founder's followers were less than impressed with the backstage scenes, which also featured many members of the PLT team.

One follower commented underneath: "Looooooooooool at the fake sighs and puffing at the venue drama. Give these girls an acting class please."
Another added: "As long as no one takes this seriously, they’ll be fine. What a bunch…."
A third then wrote: "This seems so fake and staged."
The video wrapped with the announcement the PLT YouTube videos "had the highest engagement we have ever had" - yet one viewer unkindly retorted this was because "people are laughing at it."
Yet Molly's loyal fans were quick to take her corner.
One posted: "Loved watching this series and getting a glimpse BTS at PLT .. love Molly Mae, she is such a girl boss AND all the PLT team absolutely bossing it xoxo"
Another then cheered: "This is amazing so proud of Molly and the PLT team 💗💗👏🏽" before one followed up: "Absolutely amazing 👏 😍
"Well done Molly & the team yous most definitely smashed it 👏 🙌."
In the video, Molly was seen beaming as she confessed to the camera: "I feel like I didn't actually breathe through the show.
"I feel I was stiff, and just trying to do my job."
Back in February, Molly's best mate Maura Higgins and boyfriend Tommy Fury were on-hand to support her.
Dragons Den entrepreneur Steven Bartlett also made an appearance as did Molly's fellow Love Island stars Ellie Brown and Kendall Rae Knight.
Love Island star Molly claimed she works 13 hour days.
She said: "One day I'll come in at 9am and won't leave until 10pm - it doesn't stop.
"I wasn't surprised by the amount of hard work that goes into being creative director because I think I'd gradually taken the role on."
Molly also insisted that her position at the company isn't as big as some may think.
She continued: "I think people get it twisted and I think I’m in charge of the whole brand, and I've come in and I’m going to flip it upside down. But that’s just not the case.
"I give my creative input where I can and I give my ideas. I’ve been a consumer since the age of 14 so I know what I want to see from this brand. I’ve gone from being a PLT customer to an influencer to a brand ambassador and now the creative director.
"I’ve taken that gradual move. I know what the brand needs to give the customers and how we can improve it."
Molly also opened up about past fashion mistakes - recalling the time she channelled Justin Bieber's wife Hailey at the Pride of Britain awards in 2019.
"Things I wear on the red carpet now are not things I would’ve worn when I first came out of Love Island," Molly said.

"There was one time when I took inspiration from Hayley Bieber for a red carpet look. I thought it would be really cool but in hindsight I wouldn’t do that now."
She added: "You’re not the same person you were three years ago."
