Gordon Ramsay says he ‘can’t stand’ Cornish people as he reignites feud after spat with his neighbours at Cornwall home
GORDON Ramsay has said he “can’t stand” people from Cornwall in a new dig.
The 55-year-old reignited his feud with the area following his furious spat with his neighbours at his home in Cornwall.
The chef surprised BBC Radio 2 host Vernon Kay with his remark while discussing creating his perfect dish.
He said: "I would go down to the beautiful Cornish coast and get a little line-caught seabass and do that with a little light crushed potatoes.
“Trust me I absolutely love Cornwall, it's just the Cornish I can't stand."
Vernon quickly interjected: "He said that not me! He said that not me! That's the G man, that's nothing to do with me!"

Gordon’s issues with Cornwall started in 2020 when he, wife Tana and their five kids upped sticks from London to live in their £4million holiday home during the early stages of the pandemic.
Their 246 mile trip came when people could be fined for any non-essential travel, and urged not to stay in their second homes.
He was called “disgusting” and accused of “flouting government rules” by one local, despite the star insisting he had done nothing wrong at the time.
They raged: “Don’t you realise that by doing that you’ve possibly brought the virus with you and because Cornwall is not your main residence, if you and your family get sick you will place yet more strain on an already fragile infrastructure.
“I’m reporting you to the police. What you’ve done is against the law and I hope they force you back to London.”
Another bluntly wrote: “P**s off out of Cornwall, you’re not wanted.”
Gordon also caused outrage by going on 60-mile bike rides in the county — but hit back at the time: “There was no law to say that you had to cycle for an hour and an hour only.”
He later looked back at the backlash and told he has regrets over taking it on the chin.
Kitchen Nightmares host Gordon said: “God knows why we took so much s**t from the Cornish.
“We lived down there; we just hadn’t been down there for a long time.
"We didn’t sneak down there at all. We got there at an appropriate time, and had an absolutely amazing time.

“And a time like that – we’ll never get back again.
"When the kids started disappearing again, I didn’t want it to end – as a dad, not a chef.”
