X Factor viewers blast the show following ‘staged’ scenes with Kirsty Murphy after spotting THIS

Fans weren't convinced as the hopeful made a desperate dash to perform in front of the judges

X FACTOR viewers have blasted Saturday’s explosive scenes as “staged” – after noticing contestant Kirsty Murphy already had a microphone on ahead of invading the set.

The 21-year-old was so frightened that she’d miss the last of the auditions as midnight approached that she gate-crashed another performance to belt out her rendition of Alicia Keys’ If I Ain’t Got You.

As the show descended into chaos, viewers weren’t convinced by the dramatic scenes as the hopeful made her desperate dash to Simon Cowell and the rest of the panel.

One tweeter wrote: “So… she ran in already mic’d up?”

Another declared the scenes were “set up.”

Following Kirsty’s performance, Sharon said: “When she first came in I was a bit frightened actually.

“She walked in and came right over to the desk and I was thinking, ‘Oh my god, alert, alert!’. But she was ballsy! It takes a lot to do that.”

The judges were visibly shocked as she disrupted another audition

Kirsty later explained what went through her mind the moment she dashed out in front of the judges.

“I was with my mum and we saw a door labelled ‘Judges Room’ in front of us.

There was shock all round

“I said to my mum ‘I’m just going to go in there’ and at first she was shocked and said ‘no you can’t!’ but then she switched and said, ‘Yes you can, get in!’ and she actually pushed me in.”

“When mum opened the door, I couldn’t see the judges so thought I should just go for it, it was now or never.”
