CELEB DATES DATE NIGHT! Joey Essex and Stephanie Pratt cosy up together as they stay in to watch Celebs Go Dating finale

The couple met on the show and are still going strong

JOEY Essex cosied up to his new love Stephanie Pratt as they enjoyed a cosy night in to watch the show that brought them together.

The former TOWIE star shared a photo on his Twitter page of the pair of them lying side by side together which he captioned: “Watching the finale with this one @stephaniepratt,” adding a loved-up emoji  at the end.

She also took to her social media as she shared a photo on her Instagram of her and Joey and    captioned it: “Can’t believe it’s the finale episode tonight!”

They were both, of course, referring to the E4 show Celebs Go Dating on which he and the Made In Chelsea beauty met.

They were supposed to be dating non-famous participants but in last night’s series finale, when the group attended their last dinner party with their most successful dates, Joey and Steph turned up with each other.

During their time on the show, Joey,  26, and Stephanie, 30, enjoyed a steamy romp in a pool which officially outed them as seeing one another.

In Friday’s final episode, Steph told the camera: “I’m so happy that I’ve met Joey. I’ve come so far. Could he be the one? Potentially.”

She added: "I never thought that I would fall for Joey Essex, but this is the real deal. I haven't felt this way about anyone for years."

And Joey felt like he had to defend what many see as a very unlikely romance as he said: “Why can't they just accept that I like her and she likes me?

“It hurts that they don't think this is real.”

Just under two weeks ago, the new reality TV couple appeared on This Morning and were quizzed by hosts Phillip Scofield and Holly Willoughby.
