MAKING A SPLASH! Liam Payne looks happy and jumps for joy into his swimming pool amid Cheryl pregnancy rumours

The One Direction star cooled off as he enjoyed the recent heatwave

LIAM Payne takes a running jump into his swimming pool as he celebrates being the “luckiest man in the world”.

The One Direction star shared a video to his Instagram page yesterday which showed the pop star leaping  into the water as  he enjoyed  the heatwave.

Sharing it with his fans, he captioned it, “making a splash!” as a friend bobbed about in the water nearby.

The 23-year-old is back in the studio and is also at the centre of growing speculation that girlfriend Cheryl, 33, is pregnant with their first child.

Fans are convinced the former Girls Aloud star is with child after she showed off a fuller face during a recent L’Oréal ad campaign.

Liam’s legion of followers took to Twitter to debate whether or not the singer might be expecting.

The rumour mill was sent into overdrive even more when one eagle-eyed fan noticed that Liam, 23, had changed his Twitter bio to read “the luckiest man”.

Neither Liam or Cheryl have addressed the rumours, and he tried to distract from them by sharing a picture of  himself working on his solo stuff.

In the arty fish eye shot- which he captioned ‘Hard at work‘ - the 23-year-old can be seen sitting at a mixing table.

Back in July it was announced that Liam was the latest member of 1D to sign a solo record deal.

The news ruffled a few feathers – particularly with Simon Cowell who admitted he was annoyed that the star had signed with a rival label.

He said at the time: “It is a bit annoying if I am honest with you – mainly because it is another label who has now got your artist who you worked with for so many years.

“But that is the music business, unfortunately. I don’t think anyone else from the band will do that.”
