Keira Knightly hits out at rumours that she is losing her hair after receiving ‘female baldness’ products
The actress has been confused for weeks as to why she’s been receiving hair loss products
KEIRA Knightley is NOT going bald, despite sparking stories that she was losing her hair after she revealed in an interview that she had been “wearing wigs for the past five years.”
The 31-year-old who doesn’t have any social media accounts seemingly missed all the coverage around her “hair loss” and revealed in a recent interview that she has received a “big box of things for female baldness” and that she had “no idea what that was about.”
When New York Magazine journalist Katie Van Syckle reminded Keira that in August she told InStyle that she wore wigs in her films after her hair started to fall out thanks to too many dye jobs, Keira finally realised what was going on and thanked the writer for clarifying things for her.
She reiterated: “For films. I do wear wigs for films.
“I can’t tell you how many boxes of hair loss stuff — and there are many on the market — I have at home,' she said. 'And I was like, Wait, does someone know something that I don’t? Am I like bald? Thanks for clearing that up. I was so confused!”
In fact, the actress who gave birth to daughter Edie in May 2015 revealed that unlike many new mum’s she didn’t lose her hair, and in fact grew more of it.
“I have got ten times more of it,” she said.
“I was sort of thinking, ‘Okay, I’ll keep it long and when and if it falls out, I’ll cut it off and that will be cool because then I could have a bob’.
“I am waiting for that to happen, but fortunately it hasn’t yet.”
