Paul McCartney wears same retro velvet trimmed jacket he wore in 1964, to Eight Days a Week premiere

The star's slim physique may be due to his vegetarian diet

PAUL McCartney got back to where he once belonged — in a jacket he first wore in 1964.

The slender superstar, 74, slipped into the velvet-lapelled tuxedo without having it let out.

Paul McCartney first wore the jacket at A Hard Days Night premiere in 1964

He was at the world premiere of The Beatles: Eight Days A Week — The Touring Years in London’s Leicester Square on Thursday.

The documentary focuses on the band’s live shows in the UK and US, and Beatlemania.

Sir Paul, whose slim form many attribute to vegetarianism, first wore the tux 52 years ago aged 22, teaming it with a bow tie for the premiere of A Hard Day’s Night.
