Jason Manford reveals embarrassing babysitting accident on Would I Lie To You
Comedian revealed all about a mishap he had after fearing there was a ghost upstairs in the house.
JASON Manford once wet himself while babysitting.
However fans of the comedian will be relieved to know it wasn't while he was looking after one of his five children - but when he was a teenager.
Appearing on Would I Lie to You?, the 35-year-old had to regale his story to Lee Mack's team, for them to decide if he was telling the truth or not.
Reading from a card, he said: "I once wet myself while babysitting a toddler."
Fellow comedian Lee immediately asked how old he was, and Jason replied it happened when he was 12 or 13.
While details of his exact age were vague, so was his answer as to who he was babysitting, with him saying: "It was like a niece, a cousin, well it's hard to...a niece."
Pulling his story together, he added: "I heard a voice upstairs, a voice of a man, who shouldn't have been up there, a voice I didn't know.
"So I got scared, I thought it was a ghost."
The spooky voice could be heard through the baby monitor Jason had with him, but when he went upstairs to check what was going on, no one was there.
He said: "What had happened was the baby monitor had tuned into one of the neighbours baby monitors and I was listening to someone three doors down.
"I went up, grabbed the child who was asleep in the cot and went out the front door."
When Lee and team member Sara Cox asked if he screamed and where he went next, Jason replied: "I didn't scream, I went to my aunty and uncles', and said 'there's a ghost in the house... I've got the baby.'"
Asked what they said, he replied: "Have you wet your pants?"
While Sara thought the story was true, Harry Shearer - famous for being one of the voices of The Simpsons - thought Jason was lying.
Lee eventually decided to go with Harry, Jason revealed his story was in fact...true.
