David Platt to come face to face with Kylie Platt’s killer as he appears in court for her murder
On set pics show Clayton with a big grin on his face...but does that mean he gets away with murder?
CLAYTON Hibbs has a big smile on his face despite heading to his trial for murdering Kylie Platt.
But hopefully the Coronation Street actor's smiles were off camera only - otherwise it could mean his character has got away with the crime.
During the trial David Platt is set to come face to face with his wife's killer in upcoming scenes on Coronation Street.
The grieving father, played by Jack P Shepherd, heads to Weatherfield Crown Court to see thug Clayton Hibbs - played by Callum Harrison - in the witness box.
Kylie, played by Paula Lane, was stabbed to death by Clayton in July. The mum-of-two had come to the rescue of Gemma when Clayton was harassing her. She died in David's arms.
Just a few days ago we revealed on set snaps of David outside the courthouse with petrol cans and a lighter.
The troubled father is still grieving for his wife and since her death, David’s behaviour has spiralled out of control.
The hairdresser was pictured filling up two petrol cans and then placing them in the boot of his car.
He sadly took the time to stare at the picture of his wife Kylie stored away in his wallet, before flicking his thumb against his lighter outside the Weatherfield Crown Court.
Who knows how far David is willing to go for revenge.
