Tom Hiddleston ‘engaged’ to Fresh Meat star Zawe Aston as she flashes ring on left hand at Bafta ceremony
TOM Hiddleston and Zawe Ashton are engaged according to reports, after she was seen with a huge diamond ring on her finger at the Bafta ceremony.
The Loki actor, 41, and The Marvels actress - who co-starred as husband and wife in the 2019 play Betrayal - look set to tie the knot as she was pictured wearing a diamond-encrusted sparkler on her ring finger on Sunday night.
Zawe, 37, tried to conceal her hand from photographers on the red carpet using the flowing cape from her custom gown by Emilia Wickstead to hide it.
The Fresh Meat star later posed for a photo from the ballroom of the London's Grosvenor Hotel as she chatted to host AJ Ododu - who later shared a snap of her and the happy couple on her Instagram.
In the image, Zawe flashed a big smile as the striking piece of jewellery dazzled on her finger.
The Thor actor looked dapper in a black suit, bow tie and a crisp white shirt, as they strolled the red carpet hand-in-hand.
They were seen sharing a joke and laughing together as they paused for photos.

During the BAFTA ceremony, the couple were reportedly congratulated by industry friends.
Zawe has been dating Hollywood actor Tom since 2019, after they appeared in the London stage show Betrayal together as a married couple.
In 2020, Zawe moved to be with him in Atlanta, where he has set up home along with his beloved dog Bobby.

He relocated there earlier that year to shoot his Disney+ series Loki and was forced to stay there amid coronavirus.
A source close to the couple said: “Tom and Zawe have stayed quiet about their relationship but she has spent the last few weeks with him in the US.
“They are very well suited and enjoy the quieter side of life away from the glitz and glamour of the showbiz world.
“Their lives are typically very busy, so spending time together while not working has been something they have both embraced. Tom has made a home in Atlanta during lockdown and he is expecting to spend the rest of the year there.”
The Sun revealed that the pair were an item back in 2019.
A source told The Sun: “Tom really has fallen for Zawe in a big way.
“They’ve actually been together for more than six months. But he is so paranoid about his private life since his relationship with Taylor that he has gone to great lengths to keep this under wraps.
“Tom and Zawe spent Easter together renovating his house in England.
“They now spend most weekends together and going for long walks with his dog. He thinks this could be the love of his life — he’s ready to settle down.”
Zawe has described in interviews how she, Tom and co-star Charlie Cox were having the “time of their lives” in the play.
Prior to dating Zawe, Tom had a high-profile romance with Taylor Swift in 2016 as well as a relationship with his Wallander co-star Susannah Fielding, who he split from in 2011.

A month later, he was mocked for wearing an “I love TS” T-shirt he said he jokingly borrowed from one of her friends. He and Taylor split two months later.
Tom told the New York Times after his romance with Taylor: "Yes, I’m protective about my internal world now in probably a different way. That’s because I didn’t realise it needed protecting before."
