Man ‘slapped by Real Housewives star Dawn Ward’ says he didn’t know who she was
A TRAIN passenger who says reality star Dawn Ward racially abused and slapped him yesterday told a court he had no idea who she was.
Jake Jacobs, 26, claims the Real Housewives of Cheshire star yelled anti-Semitic abuse at him and brother Sam after they complained about delays at Euston in October 2019.
Jurors heard his 999 call in which he said he was struck.
Mr Jacobs told the court: “I had no idea who Ms Ward was. She said something along the lines of ‘I didn’t hit you that hard’.
“She was drunk, it was slurred. I didn’t think she thought I’d call the police.
"Towards the end, she wanted to walk away. I was confused. I was saying, ‘What has this got to do with religion?’.”

Lisa Judge, for Ward, claimed Mr Jacobs “had a go at her” for her wealth and her Botox.
Ward, of Warford Hall, Cheshire, the wife of former player Ashley, denies racially and religiously aggravated harassment and cocaine possession.
Trial continues at Inner London crown court.
