JEREMY Clarkson has got one over on Top Gear by bagging a string of Hollywood A-listers for his new car show.

Matt Damon, 45, and Charlize Theron, 41, are among the big-hitters lined up to appear in The Grand Tour later this year.

It is a kick in the teeth for the BBC, which managed to attract a jumble of C-list guests for the revamped Top Gear.

They have included blues singer Seasick Steve, 75, and Brit rapper Tinie Tempah, 27.

A TV source told The Sun: “All the early signs suggest The Grand Tour will have a much bigger pulling power than Top Gear. Matt and Charlize are just two of the names involved. More big stars will follow.

“Top Gear’s influence and power has clearly waned without Jeremy at the helm.”

Clarkson, 56, was sacked last year after punching a producer.

Co-hosts Richard Hammond, 46, and James May, 53, went with him and the trio have already started work on the new show for Amazon Prime.

Chris Evans, 50, took over fronting Top Gear but quit in July after poor ratings.
