Inside Rihanna’s TEN year battle with neighbour who sued her for parking on his drive & planting ‘too high’ bamboo bush
SINGER Rihanna has finally settled a lawsuit with her neighbour who sued her more than 10 years ago.
Christian Moeller sued Rihanna in 2009 when she was just 21 years, accusing the Umbrella star of being a ‘bad neighbour’ in their Hollywood Hills neighbourhood.
Court documents filed in the Los Angeles Superior Court on January 25 in a motion to dismiss showed the court case named Robyn Fenty – Rihanna's real name – and her landlord at the time, Stephen Yacobian.
In his original lawsuit, Moeller sued the star for damages over trespass, fraud, invasion of privacy and nuisance.
He claimed cars used by chauffeurs and Rihanna herself loitered on his driveway, blocking it and that the singer planted tall bamboo plants that blocked his view of the city.
Moeller said in his lawsuit that a security camera installed on the house was pointed at his property.
But in January's legal paperwork the case was dismissed according to , although the documents did not disclose the details of the settlement.
The same website previously reported on the lawsuit and spoke to some of her other neighbours who had only good things to say about the star.

“She is a good neighbour,” said one person, and added that Rihanna “is hardly ever” at the rented home.
Another neighbour also said they preferred Rihanna to the previous tenants.
“Several years ago it had squatters living there and it became a real party house with people coming from all over Los Angeles,” the neighbour explained.
“But after they were kicked out it became really quiet again and Rihanna hasn’t caused any real problems.
"There have been a few parties there in the past month but nothing really so bad that people would file a lawsuit.”
The settled dispute comes as Rihanna is set to launch her lingerie brand on the stock-ings market — potentially adding $1billion to her wealth.
She is in talks about floating her racy knicker range Savage X Fenty.
The brand could be valued at £2.3billion if it goes public this year.
And Rihanna, 34, reportedly owns 30 per cent, making her share worth around £770million — or $1billion.
Rihanna — expecting her first child with rapper A$AP Rocky — is already said to be worth £1.3billion.
With worldwide record sales of more than 250million, the Barbadian is one of the best-selling music artists of all time.

But most of her wealth is thanks to the success of cosmetics line Fenty Beauty, which she co-owns with French luxury retailer LVMH.
Her underwear venture Savage X Fenty began as an online-only brand in 2018. It has now expanded to five retail locations in cities like Los Angeles and Washington DC.
