Strictly’s Georgia May Foote is a ‘complete flop’ as stint in West End production Breakfast at Tiffany’s sold just EIGHT tickets in the upper circle for opening night
Milton Keynes theatre has a capacity of 1,440 people – it will be only half full for the fomer Corrie's star's debut in iconic role

PIXIE LOTT saw a whopping one million people purchase tickets to see her star in Breakfast at Tiffany’s – meaning she even trumped ANNA FRIEL who starred as Holly Golightly in 2009.
But it seems as though GEORGIA MAY FOOTE, who is taking over from Pixie next week, isn’t enjoying the same success as her predecessor.
The Strictly runner-up’s ticket sales for her stint in the show have been a complete flop – as she has sold just eight tickets in the upper circle for her opening night.
While the Milton Keynes theatre has a capacity of 1,440 people – the theatre will be only half full for her debut as 696 tickets have been left unsold.
Less than half of the circle tickets have been picked up by punters and 66 seats will be left empty in the stalls.
And Georgia’s terrible ticket sales don’t stop there as the former Corrie star’s second night in the same venue is even worse.
A source said: “It’s woeful just how empty the theatre will be for Georgia’s stage debut.
“Pixie sold a record-breaking amount of tickets, so Georgia’s ticket sales in comparison are just embarrassing.
“Bosses are hoping Georgia’s ticket sales will quickly pick up once the reviews are out but the opening night is going to be a bit quiet.”
Georgia has recently been dealt a series of bad news – after she split from her Strictly love GIOVANNI PERNICI.
The Sun revealed earlier this month how the heartbroken star feared Giovanni would be set up with her pal LAURA WHITMORE on this year’s BBC show.
And Georgia’s worst fears were confirmed when Gio and Laura were paired together during the launch episode – and have since been spotted cosying up after training.
Poor Georgia certainly deserves some good luck.
Sarah on rise
SARAH-JANE MEE better get used to setting her alarm for 3am. The presenter is replacing EAMONN HOLMES as lead anchor on Sky News’ breakfast show Sunrise.
The newsreader, who started off as a runner for Sky, is “over the moon” with her new job – but has admitted she’s going to need “nana naps” to stay awake on air.
In an exclusive interview, Sarah-Jane said: “It’s the dream job without the dream start time. I’ll have a nana nap each day. If it’s good enough for Grandma, it’s good enough for me. I’ll sleep between 20 and 40 minutes in the afternoon.”
Sarah-Jane will take over from Eamonn on October 17 – following his retirement from the role after 11 years. And he made sure to leave Sarah-Jane with some words of wisdom: “Don’t mess up”.
I’m sure her nana naps will stop that happening.
Split is C-Ryan shame
IT’S not just the good folks of Weatherfield RYAN THOMAS has parted with.
The ex-Corrie hunk has split with pretty girlfriend Lana Martin as they struggled to make their long-distance relationship work.
Ryan began dating the Edinburgh-based marketing consultant in February after they met on a night out in Manchester.
Despite having more time on his hands after bowing out as Jason Grimshaw on the soap, the 800-mile round trip from London took its toll.
A source said: “It’s a shame but amicable. Lana was there to help Ryan adjust after Corrie. He’ll always be grateful.”
Fans needn’t fear for Ryan – who dated co-star TINA O’BRIEN from 2003 until 2009 – despite being without his job of 15 years or a partner.
A source said: “He’s enjoying having more creative freedom and is looking forward to a few upcoming auditions.”
If Ryan takes any cues from his Corrie alter ego, it won’t be long before he’s off the market.
