Sweet meaning behind Katie Price’s new £180 tattoo as she gets tribute to terminally ill mum inked in Thailand
KATIE Price's new tattoo has a sweet meaning behind it after getting a tribute to her terminally ill mum.
The 43-year-old star, who is holidaying on Koh Samui in Thailand with fiance Carl Woods, had lilies, daffodils and hyacinths drawn on to her forearm in a three-hour sitting.
The new inking closely resembles the wallpaper that her mum Amy, 63, picked out when she was designing a special room for her daughter's Mucky Mansion, so she can always be remembered.
Amy, who has a life-limiting lung condition called idopathic pulmonary fibrosis, left her stamp on the property in what has been dubbed the ‘royal room’.
She filled the room with statement floral wallpaper and green walls which are complemented by bamboo-style furniture.
At the time, a source told The Sun: "Amy's style is very tropical - parrot print on the wall, palm trees - a lot of pink and green - and while filming was going on, she was worried how Katie would react when she saw it!
“Everyone's calling it the 'royal room' - Amy's putting her own spin on the design and it'll be a special tribute room to Amy so Katie always has a memory of her in the house."

Katie's latest body art appears to be a sweet nod to her beloved mum, who appeared on her Channel 4 renovation show earlier this year.
The former glamour model was pictured today sitting back in the chair ahead of the tattooing after walking through the island resort with Carl.
Wearing a teal off-the-shoulder dress and matching fluffy slippers, the star was seen clutching her phone.

Local tattoo artist Bond did the impressive artwork, which cost reality star Katie around £180.
It is thought to be her 13th tattoo and will appear alongside a garter belt on her thigh, a bow above her bum and a crown on her right hand.
Katie also has a large picture of Carl's face to match the one he has of her calling it "more than a tattoo - it's a tribute to each other".
She also had a bracelet with the initials of her children Harvey, Junior, Princess, Jett and Bunny.
The tattoo comes after the star revealed her largest ever boobs in a series of eye-popping pictures.
She was seen lounging on a boat in a bikini top with her 33-year-old boyfriend after her 14th boob operation.
Katie and Carl have shared glimpses of their trip to Koh Samui, a Thai island famous for its palm-fringed beaches.

The pair were seen kicking back beside a sparkling blue ocean as she enjoyed a drink from a coconut.
In December, Katie underwent liposuction, had fat removed from her bum, and had a breast lift at the BeClinic in Brussels.
