Vicky Pattison QUITS social media in emotional post saying she feels like she ‘can’t win’ and needs to escape ‘toxicity’
EMOTIONAL Vicky Pattison has quit social media after admitting she's exhausted with the "toxicity".
The 34-year-old says lately trolls on Instagram have made her feel like she "can't win", adding: "I feel like now more so than ever there's an anger to this platform."
Vicky explained she's taking time away from her 5million followers, weeks after sharing her happy engagement news.
Sharing a picture that said "temporarily closed for spiritual maintenance", Vicky captioned it: "The world is angry atm- I get that... I am too- but projecting your fear, uncertainty & hate onto well meaning people across social media is not a suitable outlet for your pain.
"I just don't feel like I can win atm & I don't think trying to is the correct way to spend my time... If I'm curvier I've 'let myself go' but if I've lost weight I look 'ill' & 'I'm no longer 'an advocate for curvy women.'
"If I do a post regarding my normal life or something fun or lighthearted I'm a 'disgrace & should be ashamed of myself' because of what's going on in Ukraine however if I proactively try to do my bit then 'where was my support for Syria?' Or my effort isn't good enough!!
"This dialogue is exhausting! And for someone like me, who's really just trying to spread some love, light & positivity- it's too much."

The Sun revealed last month Vicky's boyfriend Ercan Ramadan popped the question on a romantic holiday in Dubai.
But Vicky admitted the trolling had put a dampener on her post-engagement euphoria.
She continued: "I should be on cloud 9 atm focusing on my gorgeous new fiancé, my family & friends!
"But instead I'm being dragged further down this hole of negativity & misplaced anger.
"I know deep down it doesn't matter how nice I am on here, how normal, how honest, how relatable I am- I will never people please my way into collective acceptance.
"And I need to stop trying & just focus on the things that bring me happiness & peace- sometimes self care is choosing not to argue with people who are committed to misunderstanding you.
"I'm overdue abit of that self care I think so I'm going to see if I can get that lovely post engagement bubble feeling back this week & remove myself from the toxicity of Instagram ♥️ Thankyou."
Vicky's celebrity pals rushed to send their love to the I'm A Celebrity winner.
Love Island's Shaughna Phillips said: "Time and time again, you say it PERFECTLY, can’t wait to see you back queen."
While Loose Women's Saira Khan wrote a lengthy reply. She said: "I feel exactly the same Vicky! But always remember your tribe. They get you and that’s all that matters. You can never please anyone.
"I’ve been trolled this week too- got me down and then I thought who the f*** are these “small people” trying to put me down. So many people on social media platforms are Soooo bland, keeping away from controversial subjects and trying to blend in! You don’t, you never have and that takes courage, bravery and guts.
