Peter Andre’s wife Emily dismisses 16-year age gap saying he’s ‘young at heart’
PETER Andre's wife Emily has brushed off their 16-year age gap as he prepares to turn 50 next year - insisting he's "young at heart".
The 32-year-old says their difference in years has never been an issue since they married in 2015.
Emily wrote in her column: "He will be 50 next year and it feels like he’s had this big build-up to it, as he’s been talking about turning 50 for the past five years!
"To me, it means nothing how old someone is. Age is only a number and Pete doesn’t look 50. He’s also very young at heart.
"Neither of us are worried about him turning 50, and are trying to plan something really memorable to do as a family."
NHS doctor Emily shares two children, Amelia, eight, and Theo, with 49-year-old Pete.
They met in 2010 through Emily's dad - a doctor who treated Peter for kidney stones.
Pete and Emily have revealed their hopes of having a third child.
