‘I’M A TOSSER ALL THE WAY’: Great British Bake Off’s Candice Brown shares her pancake-cooking preference on innuendo-filled Batter Week
The pouty contestant also revealed she doesn’t own any lace knickers
THE Great British Bake Off‘s Candice Brown has admitted to being a tosser on yet another innuendo-filled show.
The bright-lippy wearing contestant was chatting to host Mel Giedroyc as she made heart-shaped pancakes as part of tonight’s challenge.
As she cooked her lace-like creation, Mel asked her: “Are you a tosser or a flipper?”
And Candice replied: “Oh, I’m a tosser all the way, Mel.”
Judge Paul Hollywood had asked the team to make lace pancakes and as she laid out her design on baking paper, Candice said something that left female viewers flummoxed.
As she drew a heart-shaped design, she said; “What does lace look like? Do they want lovely lace or do they want squiggly lace? I haven’t even got any lace pants.”
One wrote: “Candice defo has lace pants honestly who is she trying to kid,” while another added: “'I don't even have any lace pants' NOBODY believes you Candice.”
However, her talk of underwear got her male fans hot under the collar as one wrote: “*Candice mentions lace pants* *Dad Twitter implodes* #GBBO.”
Another added: “Candice is a tosser not a flipper. And she doesn't own lacy pants. I don't know what to say #GBBO.”
One said: “Candice, lace and tossing? Stop it, brain. Stop going there.”
And another wrote: “Candice lacks lace pants. This is causing me some distraction as to wonder what type of pants she DOES have.”
But it wasn’t just Candice providing the red faces this evening as judge Mary Berry came out with some classic double entendres during this week’s episode.
At one stage she mentioned the word “impregnate” during the churros-making challenge, which sent Twitter into a spin.
One wrote: “Did Mary Berry really just used the word impregnated ....TWICE in the space of 3 minutes???
And another added, “Mary Berry saying impregnated twice in under a minute.. Not sure why that amuses me,” while one asked: “The fat has impregnated the churros a bit too much" why Mary Berry, why?”
This week, nurse Kate Barmby became the fourth person voted off the show while Benjamina was voted Star Baker.
