George Michael set to take fans behind the music of Listen Without Prejudice Vol. 1 with tell-all documentary
To mark the reissue of his seminal second album George will narrate a film about his nineties heyday
GEORGE Michael fans are in for a treat with the release of a new documentary about the singer's second album.
Freedom: George Michael will delve in to the story behind Listen Without Prejudice Vol. 1, and will feature perhaps the most A-list line-up of 'talking heads' ever.
Famous fans of the North London born artist that will feature in the doc are Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Mary J Blige, Tony Bennett, Liam Gallagher, James Corden and Ricky Gervais.
But most excitingly for fans of fashion - and the nineties in general - will be the turns from the original 'Supers' who featured in his 1990 video for Freedom '90.
Naomi Campbell, Christy Turlington, Cindy Crawford, Tatjana Patitz and Linda Evangelista will all talk about their friendship with the 53-year-old and their role in the iconic clip - marking the first time they have been reunited in twenty-six years.
A source close to the Careless Whisper singer told The Sun: "This documentary will be a real delight for George's fans.
"Listen Without Prejudice was a real turning point in his career, and arguably when he really came in to his own as a solo artist.
"It still means so much to him today, which is why he's narrating it.
"He'll be heavily involved."

Listen Without Prejudice Vol 1. went four times platinum in the UK and sold millions around the world.
However, it wasn't necessarily an easy album for George to make and promote.
At the time, he was struggling with how then-label Sony wanted to market him following the success of his first solo LP, Faith.
Tensions rose after he refused to be pictured on the cover of the album or feature in the promos, hence how the iconic video for Freedom '90 came about.
In this exclusive picture obtained by The Sun online, George can be seen deep in discussion with Linda, who was a close confidante of the singer and remains a good friend.

Shortly after releasing Listen Without Prejudice Vol 1, George met Anselmo Feleppo whose tragic death also features in the film, along with his court-case against Sony.
The release of the documentary, directed by BAFTA nominee Phillip Smith, will co-incide with the re-issue of Listen Without Prejudice Vol.1 and George’s stunning 1996 MTV Unplugged performance.
