GOGGLEBOX fans were left wiping tears away tonight as Sophie Sandiford broke down over the Ukraine war.
Sophie, 26, was watching scenes of Russia's invasion of Ukraine with her brother Pete when the pure horror of it all became too much.
During a news bulletin, the siblings saw Ukrainian women being forced to leave their husbands and male relatives behind to fight while they fled.
Wiping her eyes, Sophie told her brother that she couldn't bear the thought of leaving him in a war zone.
"It's choking me up even thinking about it," Sophie said. "Because I would just stay with you."
With his own voice cracking, Pete told her: "No you wouldn't. I f***ing wouldn't let you, you little softy.
"Stop it, you k******d, because you're going to make me cry. We're here, you f***ing idiot!"
But crying, Sophie replied: "I know, but it's just scary."
Fans were overcome with emotion at the Gogglebox scene, with many taking to Twitter to share their feelings.
One tweeted: "Sophie & Pete tearing up is exactly how I feel, I would never leave my boyfriend of brothers 💔💔😢😢 #Gogglebox."
Another wrote: "Gogglebox Sophie & Pete choked me up, it’s true you can’t help but put yourselves in their shoes 😢 #Ukraine."
A third added: "@PeteandSophie have the sweetest sibling relationship, reminds me of me and my brother & yes I'm scared too Sophie 😢 #gogglebox."
And a fourth admitted: "Hoping I wasn't the only person to shed a tear at Pete and Sophie's Ukraine chat #Gogglebox."
The Ukrainian Government brought in conscription as Russia's threat to the country intensified.
This rule means that healthy adult men must enlist in the armed forces to fight while their country is under brutal attack from Vladimir Putin.

Meanwhile, shortly before Friday night's episode of Gogglebox aired on Channel 4, Prime Minister Boris Johnson addressed Ukrainians directly.
Writing in Ukrainian, he tweeted: "I cannot even imagine what you're living through right now, or the outrage and heartbreak you must feel as everything you know and love is so inexplicably and brutally shattered.
"What is happening in your homeland is an abomination."
