Denise Van Outen’s ex Eddie breaks down in tears and tells fans ‘I’ve had a really hard few months’
DENISE Van Outen’s ex-fiancé Eddie Boxshall broke down in tears as he shared an emotional message with his followers.
The 47-year-old and Denise, also 47, broke up earlier this year after she discovered he’d been unfaithful.
But Eddie took to Instagram to reveal he’d received some news that put everything into perspective following their split.
In an emotional video he broke down and told his followers: “I’ve had a really bad time over the last couple of months.
“These aren’t tears of upset, they’re tears of joy because one of my best pals has just been given the all clear for his cancer.
“And this puts everything that anyone goes through into perspective.”
Eddie added: “You’ve got one life, stay healthy and live it. Dan, love you boy. Get in there!”
Dad-of-two Eddie recently revealed he’s lost a stone in weight since splitting from Denise, blaming stress and anxiety.
In an Instagram comment, below a snap of him working out in the gym, he wrote: “I’m just back into my training as I lost over a stone in weight due to stress and anxiety over the last four months.”
He added: “Exercise helps my mental health as well.”
Devastated singer and actress Denise asked Eddie to leave the home where they are regularly seen on Channel 4’s Celebrity Gogglebox after learning of his infidelity.
A source told The Sun: “It’s the very last thing she expected to happen. She thought this was for ever — but while she has been out at work he’s been sat in her home betraying her trust.”
