How to apply for Channel 4’s Gogglesprogs

GOGGLESPROGS is a spin-off from original series Gogglebox, but with a difference.

CHANNEL 4 is looking for mini TV critics aged between four and thirteen to take part in the series.

Gogglesprogs initially began as a Christmas Day pilot in 2015, but due to its popularity was commissioned for an entire series.

How do I apply?

By sending an email to gogglesprogs@studiolambert.com, parents will receive an application form in return from Channel 4.

On this application the production company would like to know: your personal details, relationship to child/children, best time of contact, and a few sentences and photographs about your child/children.

Applications are welcomed from all types of kids, not just brothers and sisters.

Studio Lambert encourages applications from siblings, cousins, neighbours and friends.

What is the format of the show?

Previous series' of Gogglesprogs has featured chatty children giving their verdict on shows and films such as: The Great British Bake Off, Twilight and Mamma Mia.

The makers of the show say it differs from the traditional Gogglebox format, simply because you are working with children.

"We tried to show the children interesting, engaging material – a mix of documentaries, entertainment shows, news stories, and big classic movies.

"We filmed Gogglesprogs over a couple of months, and then topped it up with material from the past week to keep it up to date."
