Victoria Beckham reveals her son Cruz has ‘star potential’ as superstar kid plans to follow in her musical footsteps
Cruz, 11, has already caught the eye of Justin Bieber's manager Scooter Braun and is learning how to play the guitar
RECORD label bosses are rubbing their hands with glee after VICTORIA BECKHAM confirmed that one of her brood is following her into music.
I revealed last month how her and DAVID’s youngest son CRUZ had made his first move towards becoming a performer by learning guitar.
Now Posh has confirmed the 11-year-old’s music ambitions for the first time.
In a new interview, she said: “He’s so musical. We didn’t even realise he could sing. He was always playing football.
“He was sitting in the back of the car one day singing and I was like, ‘Wow, you can really sing!’
"We’re like a travelling circus, our family.
“We sing, we dance, we play football, we do fashion.”
The Sun told in April how Cruz has caught the eye of JUSTIN BIEBER’s manager SCOOTER BRAUN.
And he has already sussed out his mum’s true role in the SPICE GIRLS.
Posh said of her kids: “They know that Mummy wore the heels, did the pout and the point.”
Victoria has a secret weapon to ensure pop stardom for her son . . . crystals.
Stars such as MADONNA, ADELE and MIRANDA KERR swear by them to channel positive energy — and Victoria is a firm believer.
She said: “I’m really into crystals. I’m a real positive thinker.
“I believe in creative visualisation — the glass is always half full.
“I have no time for anything negative. I bought crystals for all my team, so they carry them too.”
It sounds like five-year-old daughter Harper is a chip off the old block as well.
Posh said: “She is a little tomboy but also very girly. She loves to play with make-up.
“She has been able to run in a pair of high heels for a very long time — I’m so proud.”
On Monday night Vic proved she is every bit the embarrassing parent by filming herself dancing through the streets of New York.
She was surrounded by screaming fans as she strutted past a branch of McDonald’s in the cringeworthy clip.
Luckily, Posh is getting used to public humiliation.
She said: “I was at sports day and I thought, ‘It’s the taking part that counts.’
“One of the mums said, ‘We’ll run at the back together.’
“Then she steamed ahead! She won and I was at the back.”
Better yet, it was one of Vic’s famous pals who duped her.
She told US TV host SETH MEYERS: “If only you knew who it was.”
They better watch their back in the next egg-and-spoon race.
Tay-ke me out
TAYLOR SWIFT is getting used to life as a singleton after her split from TOM HIDDLESTON.
The superstar singer was spotted looking sheepish on a night out with pal GIGI HADID and her boyfriend ZAYN MALIK in New York on Monday.
Maybe she’s not used to being the third wheel on date night.
Meanwhile Gigi has had a sly dig at Zayn’s ex, LITTLE MIX star PERRIE EDWARDS, and her own former fella JOE JONAS all in one fell swoop.
The model claims she is dating former ONE DIRECTION star Zayn for his “brain” and reckons the pair have nothing in common with their previous lovers.
She said: “For the first time, we are both in a relationship where we have very similar interests outside of work. That is really important to us.
"We cook a lot together and do art together and we’re each other’s best friends.”
Let’s see if she’s saying the same thing in a year.
Prince's ex tells her side
HE sang about her in The Most Beautiful Girl in the World and now PRINCE’s first wife MAYTE GARCIA will reveal her feelings about the late music icon.
Mayte, who worked as the superstar’s backing dancer as a teenager, has penned an “intimate memoir” about the life of the couple.
Her account will be released next April to mark the anniversary of his death.
The book, titled The Most Beautiful, promises a deep insight into her life and relationship with Prince, who she met aged just 16, when he was 32, and wed in 1996.
But it will also deal with tough times, including the death of their son Gregory at a week old and the subsequent decline of their marriage, which resulted in the break-up in 1998.
She said: “For many years, people have encouraged me to share my story.
“Prince was loved the world over but few knew him intimately. And ours was a rare, almost otherworldly connection.
“I want to share our love story, and with it the highs and lows – always coming from a loving place, as this man is still part of my family and always will be.”
I have no doubt it will be an amazing read.
