The ex-army woman has become obsessed with the hairdresser in recent weeks
CORONATION Street fans couldn't help but laugh at Maria's expression after she was surprised by a kiss from Caz in tonight's episode.
Viewers have watched Caz become more and more infatuated by the oblivious hairdresser over recent weeks.
The ex-army woman's obsession even pushed her to pay someone to burgle her house, so that Maria would allow her to stay at her home.
This led to the hairdresser accidentally confronting the robber, resulting in her having her head bashed in by the corner of a table.
But it seems as though Caz couldn't rein in her infatuation for Maria any longer after the brunette managed to bag her a job interview after speaking to Aidan, Caz's ex's brother.
Maria told Caz that she got an interview for her with a local clothes firm, to which the ex-army woman said was "fantastic".
She then went over to hug Maria, saying: "What would I do without you, eh?"
The hairdresser grins, but Caz added: "I mean it though."
And then she took Maria by surprise by swooping down for a kiss on the lips.
The brunette's face said it all as the ex-army woman walked off - but not before taking a moment to look back at her and smile.
And viewers could help but laugh at Maria's shocked expression.

Many were shocked at Maria being so ridiculously oblivious to Caz's affections.

While Maria and Caz appeared to make up at the end, we all know that the ex-army officer isn't the most stable person in the world.
